How can NeoCells be so much less expensive than the other
stem cell preservation companies?
NeoCells has made a commitment to its clients to be America’s high quality yet affordable umbilical cord blood stem cell preservation company SM. Our company’s mission is to provide our high quality service to as many clients as possible who desire to preserve their child’s cord blood and not just offer our service to those for whom price is no object.
We realize that prenatal, delivery and post-delivery costs can be a substantial burden to new parents. In recognition of this high cost burden, NeoCells explored every avenue to contain the cost of our service. To accomplish this task, while at the same time meeting or exceeding scientific and regulatory requirements and providing all of the high quality service you deserve, NeoCells implemented several cost containment parameters on your behalf.
- Ours is every day affordable pricing accomplished by NeoCells rigorously controlling costs by eliminating unnecessary items of expense, such as upfront HLA testing and other add-ons which cost some other companies include and pass along to their clients.
- All of our NeoCells clients pay the same low price for our services – all clients are treated equally and fairly. None are placed in a position of needing to negotiate more favorable pricing or time their purchase to lower their cost when discounts are being offered. We do not believe in charging some clients list price, while discounting prices to others. Our view is that providing gifts-with-purchase, or other inducements to stimulate sales is not fair to prior clients who unfortunately missed out. Our position is that using these and other means to stimulate sales of a high priced service have no place in the health care services arena, especially when it comes to the collection and preservation of cord blood stem cells. In addition, it only adds to the clients’ final cost
- Our affordable pricing is further accomplished by not offering to pay caregivers to promote our cord blood preservation service to their patients. It is our feeling that the decision to store their child’s cord blood should be a reasoned decision made by parents and not caregivers who are compensated to recommend a company’s service.
- NeoCells does not automatically build in and require clients to pay $150.00 for return shipping costs – with NeoCells, clients have the option of electing to pay $35.00 to $50.00 versus to $150.00 for specimen return shipping costs depending upon their preference for cost saving versus convenience. The lower cost is for Monday through Friday very dependable expediting services such as FedEx, UPS, DHL and USPS versus the higher price $150.00 option of bedside courier pick-up for delivery seven days a week, including holidays by companies such as AirNet.
